Product Abstract: The Lemon tree was originally a small thorny evergreen tree native to India. It is now common in Southern Europe, Florida, and California. The fruit was well known in Europe by the middle ages, and the Greeks and Romans were advocates of its properties. Lemon Oil has been historically recognized as a cleanser, and lemons themselves reached the height of fame when the British Navy began using citrus fruits to counteract the effects of scurvy.
Cautions: This Essential Oil has phototoxic properties and exposure to the sun must be avoided after application to the skin for up to 12 hours. Dilute well before use; May cause skin irritation in some individuals; a skin test is recommended prior to use. Contact with eyes should be avoided.
Topical use:
Dilute to 1% kids, 2% adults
Suggested uses:
Diffuse & Inhale: Breathe in your favorite essential oils using an essential oil diffuser or personal pocket inhaler. For instructions on how to use your diffuser, please refer to the diffuser's product page.
HAPPY THOUGHTS: Add to a personal inhaler and inhale as needed: 5 drops of Lemon, 5 drops of Ylang Ylang and 5 drops of Rosemary. Or add 5-6 drops of Lemon to your Car Diffuser and diffuse in your car for a fresh aroma.
RELAX: Add to a personal inhaler and inhale as needed: 5 drops of Lemon, 5 drops of Lavender (Bulgarian or French) and 5 drops of Tangerine. Or add Lemon to your Diffuser and diffuse for 30-60 minutes.
CLEANING SPRAY: To an 8 ounce spray bottle add: 40 drops of Lemon, 22 drops of Cinnamon Bark and 30 drops of Tea Tree, then fill with 6 oz distilled water and 2 oz grain alcohol. Shake well before use.
